The Verso WANsuite 6410/30/50 A/AB WAN Access products builds on Verso’s next-generation experience and history. The series extends the popular Verso Verilink line of customer premise equipment (CPE) into the ATM over G.SHDSL access space.
A future proof investment
The WANsuite 6410/30/50 A/AB devices terminate a standards-based Symmetrical High-bit Rate Digital Subscriber Line (SHDSL) that originates from a Digital Subscriber Line Access Multiplexer (DSLAM) and provides interfaces for an end user’s communications equipment. The Circuit Emulation Service (CES) support provides for encapsulation of TDM traffic from end user equipment into ATM cells for transport across the WAN to the DSLAM and on to the ATM network. Whether connecting a PBX to the CBR port for TDM voice traffic (AAL1) or an existing router to the serial interface for data (AAL5), the WANsuite series provides a cost effective CPE/CLE tool for today’s small and medium sized businesses. The built in IP gateway enables IP packet routing throughout the LAN/WAN network architecture using a static routing configuration or dynamic routing protocols which reduces the need to purchase a costly external router. The unit is simple to configure and manage via the webbased interface for remote access to diagnostics and reports.
