Seed corn (maize): The corn is about 60% sugar, mostly starch, relatively rich in vitamin B, E. Corn contains more carotene (0.40%) and other pigments. 8-12% protein in muscle, fat of corn is 50% à linoic acid.
In the protein-rich corn loxin, poor lizin and tryptophan.
Corn phosphorus-rich, relatively poor minerals: Ca, K, Mg, Cu.
Gluten (corn) Usually used as feed for cattle, have high protein 20-30%.
